Learning types
…THE DIFFERENT LEARNING TYPES
Visual learners
Learn via observation. Adopt diagrams and models to manifest ideas. Key words are replaced by symbols. Like to use text highlighters and bright colours. Important matters are communicated via E-mails or chats.
Auditory learners
Learn through listening. Ask questions. Discuss issues, talk through problems with others. Anything to be remembered is spoken out loudly or been introduced via a small talk.
Read and write learners
Learn texts. Write down matters to clarify and define ideas and thoughts by which further developments occur. That is, important parts are re-defined.
Kinesthetic learners
Learn by action. Use examples to explain concepts. Prefer to recall experiences rather than to turn to dry facts.
Mixed learners
A combination of the above; listening, visualizing, moving. Want to use most of the available time to learn. Therefore they do it even during any physical movement (walking, travelling, etc.), and for example, using sticky notes in the kitchen, or lecture materials via phone, and so on.
